What You Should Know about Abdominoplasty

Following the abdominoplasty, there is to be no heavy lifting (which is to point out, anything over 5 pounds). You aren't to be bending twisting, running, or doing anything that may apply too much by way of energy. Gear up to be a lazy version of yourself for a while! There'll be masses of resting and sleeping in your near future.

You are probably going to feel extraordinarily tired when you first return home from the hospice. Get as much sleep as you are able to. When you do drop off, you'll potentially find it more relaxed to sleep on your back, with one or two pillows behind your head to prop you up. If you don't like to sleep on your back or if you do not find this a snug position, try sleeping on your side. You want to be in a position that will allow you to get your rest although not to mess with your stitches.

Finding The Proper SURGEON

Before electing to have abdominoplasty you have to find a qualified surgeon. One who is board certified. Be distrustful of any doctor who identifies him or herself as simply "board certified." All ratification boards are not the same; you need to understand exactly what the "board documentation" means.
